Since 2023, Blue & Gold Brewing Co. welcomed the newly-formed Coffee Team, where passion meets precision in every brew. Our mission is simple: to craft coffee products that don't just fuel your day but elevate your coffee experience to new heights. With buzzing creativity, our team crafts blends that dance on your taste buds and leave you craving for more. In November 2023, we unveiled our inaugural product, the Tasteful Tidings coffee box – a symphony of flavors curated to captivate your palate. Look forward to a new brew coming soon!

Blue & Gold Brewing's Coffee Team is composed of two undergraduate students and 1 MBA student from Marquette University: Karson, Phillip, and Gaby. We all share the same passion for coffee brewing and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional coffee that energizes our customers, while reminding them of their time at Marquette. Dr. Gabriel Velez
Assistant Professor, Marquette University
Dr. Velez is an assistant professor in the College of Education whose work runs on coffee. As the parent of three young children under five and the great-grandson of the head of the Colombian coffee federation, his love of this caffeinated nectar is both practical and a tribute to his ancestry. His unique historical ties and knowledge of coffee have been particularly insightful in accompanying the B&G students in developing a unique brew.
Amy Balestrieri
Director of Customer Care at Stone Creek
Amy Balestrieri has been at Stone Creek Coffee for over 5 years and is currently working there as the Director of Consumer Care. She has played a significant role in B&G's partnership with Stone Creek and her mentorship has helped guide the student team through all things coffee. From brewing and tasting, to supplying and packaging, Amy has taught the team so much about coffee and her support has made the Tasteful Tidings box possible.
